Here we are. This is it!! The final Episode in the first season of Eurobusk.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed the series. It took an extemely long time to make so you better have enjoyed it!!

The most exciting thing is how much we’ve taken away from the experience and what we want to improve on or add in Eurobusk 08. I know that on the editing side I want to find a way to create a better quality videos so it won’t suffer on bigger screens and as for this years trip we’ve already come up with a lot of great ideas which are bound to be a good laugh.

As a thank you to everyone who has watched Eurobusk 07 I’d ask that you watch it right to the bitter end. It’s definatley wirth it. So without further rambling… I give you…

Eurobusk 07; Episode IV Hazzar!!

It’s finally here. After hours of technical issues here is the 4th installment in the Eurobusk 07 Series. We rejoin the tour on our journey to Paris. Rob driving, myself as wingman and the the Chris’ (both Birch and Lydon) are on the resting shift in the back. See how we approach Paris, our run ins with the police, a tounge tied Rob, our magical evening under Eiffel tower and the Flash’s “little accident”.

I’ll be working on quality for next season but it’s still nice to have the option

Eurobusk 07; Episode I

Well here it is!! It’s Finally done. I don’t think it really needs any explanation but if you want to know more about this documentary take a look at The Quarter Tones.

There are 5 Episodes in total, each about 15 minutes long. This first Episode introduces the band, shows us getting to grips with the cameras and sets the scene as we leave the United Kingdom.

15 gigs, a broken down car, 25 hours of driving and a very tired musician later and I’m finally in London. I’ve spent today unpacking and strolling round my new city (and drafting a letter to the other flats in my block warning them of my social practicing hours).

I’ve covered a fair few miles of walking today and have a feeling that it’ll be keeping me fit. As for tomorrow I’m going to see Jonny and work on our Duo project. I’ll be seeing Rob Turner (from the Quarter Tones) in the evening. He’ll be having the first screening of the near completed documentary. I’m sure he’ll love it. At least until I give it him on DVD and tell hime to make notes on it for me.

I’m sure that I’ll end up loving or hating London. I don’t think you can be ambivalent towards the city. Lets hope for a good time though!

Presenting Eurobusk 07 Trailer 2 (of 2)

This came about through a random CD I played whilst Rob and I were driving. The song is from Austin Powers and it got stuck in our heads. So much so that whenever we had mental blocks whilst talking to the camera we’d break out into singing this song. Sometimes (like on the bus) we’d just mime it to the camera, I think to get over the uncomfortable situation of having a camera in your face : ).

It came together nicely when I was editing and it turned out that I managed to get through the entire song from the footage.

The most impressive thing was that our timing was spot on and that most of the time we were in tune – It was a good laugh!!

Not to forget to mention this trailer is for our up coming documentary; Eurobusk 07.

If you’ve not been following my blog you may not be aware that The Quarter Tones are going to release a documentary about the trip we took last christmas. The Trip was called Eurobusk and all details can be found on The Quarter Tones Page.

Because the task of editing down over 100 hours of footage from 2 cameras has taken longer than we first expected I’ve created two trailers to wet your appetite for the full episodes to come.
