About the blog
This is a blog about being a professional freelance trumpet player. It is a cyber representation of things I have done, am doing, that I hope to do and that I love. From my professional music life to the photography and videography projects I do for fun.

Trying To Crack The London Scene
When you’ve grown up playing and developing all of your contacts in the midlands it’s tricky to find a route into London.
If I’d been to college in London I’m sure things would be much easier but unfortunately that wasn’t an option for me. I’m trying a number of things to find a crack into the gig circuits here and I’ll be sure to review them at some stage so I can write about which ideas were effective and which were stupid.
I’ll be sure to keep on trying so that you have lots of things to read about. Eventually I’ll find a return on one of my efforts and I can build form there. Who’d have thought there was so much work to do without even picking up the trumpet?
