About the blog
This is a blog about being a professional freelance trumpet player. It is a cyber representation of things I have done, am doing, that I hope to do and that I love. From my professional music life to the photography and videography projects I do for fun.

Practice Makes Perfect … and Gets Gigs (in theory)
Nothing but practice today spliced with theory reading and subsequent shedding. I think it’ll be a while before I see a return but there definatly some practice money in the bank today.
I hope I keep inspired.
I recently bought a bass guitar and have borrowed a keyboard from the school I teach trumpet at in the hope to further understand my jazz theory. It has helped to SEE the notes and chords rather than to visualise linear lines. Plus I can keep practicing when my trumpet muscles are fatigued (leading to brain fatigue).
