Posted by Matt on July 31, 2008 | Comments (0) | Trackbacks (0)

It’s been a busy few days. I started the week by spending six hours on the phone with the people at Tom Tom trying to re-activate the map software after it came back from a warranty repair. The perseverance paid off and now it’s back to it’s good self.
I’ve been lucky in that both my [...]

Redesign

Posted by Matt on July 28, 2008 | Comments (0) | Trackbacks (0)

A site redesign should be coming in the next couple of weeks. Working along side Ashley we’ve adapted his new Moleskin Theme to go on mattrobertsmusic.com.
It won’t be hugely different. It’ll just be a little cleaner. You’ll see it very soon I hope.

Posted by Matt on July 27, 2008 | Comments (0) | Trackbacks (0)

Posted by Matt on July 25, 2008 | Comments (0) | Trackbacks (0)

With the exception of our instruments there’s no finer friend to modern day musicians than our mobile phones.
With technological advancements the way they are it’s getting increasingly difficult to get a phone that makes and receives calls and text messages. A few years ago I got the Motorola V3x  - a brilliant piece of technology. [...]

A Late Post And Long Day

Posted by Matt on July 24, 2008 | Comments (0) | Trackbacks (0)

I’ve had an intensive day of pounding through jazz standards with Jonny before he went back to London. We played for a good 5 hours and I carried on practicing those good old half-diminished scales well after he’d gone -Woo-Hoo!
I’ve spent the rest of my evening battling with Eurobusk 07 footage on iMovie before trying [...]

I’m now waiting for my studio kit to arrive at the store, then I’ll be able to convert my mac into a mini studio, then I’ll be able to record the podcast and publish it on-line. But until then I’m currently in the process of designing a brand new site especially for the podcast and [...]

Mobile Blogging = Success

Posted by Matt on July 20, 2008 | Comments (0) | Trackbacks (1)

I half expected yesterdays post to be 3 sizes to small and in some obscure font but it seems nice an normal. Mobile blogging has passed it’s first text. I wouldn’t say it’ll be my regular way to post as it’s a little tricky banging out a post on a touch screen phone but it’s [...]
