My Father the Philosopher

Just before a gig the other day my car wipers blew a fuse in the car. I didn’t have any spare and it was snowing so my Dad advised I take the fuse from the rear windscreen heater and use it for the wipers.

When I Said that then I couldn’t see out my rear screen window he replied:

“It’s better to see were you’re going than where you’ve been”

I thought that was a nice philosophical phrase!
